Estes Among Top 50 Companies for Women to Work For in Transportation

RICHMOND, VA—The Women In Trucking Association, Inc. (WIT) has named Estes as one of the Top 50 Companies for Women to Work For in Transportation. Brian Everett, publisher of WIT magazine Redefining the Road, said that their list recognizes corporate cultures that foster gender diversity, competitive compensation and benefits, flexible hours and work requirements, professional development opportunities, and career advancement opportunities. Estes was among nearly 150 nominees considered by WIT, and more than 7,000 votes from transportation professionals identified the 50 finalist companies.

“Receiving this recognition is quite an honor,” said Estes’ President and CEO Rob Estes. “Women have long played key roles at our company — even back when we covered just a single state: Virginia. Today, we recruit skilled candidates from across the nation for a variety of important leadership, front line, and behind-the-scenes positions.”
